
A Better World Fund is a nonpolitical, nonsectarian, publicly supported endowment. Contributions to the endowment remain on permanent deposit. Interest income is distributed, year after year, to worthwhile charities that are reviewed and evaluated for the quality of their programs, finances, management, fundraising, and governance.

Contributions to A Better World Fund are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Grants are given only on an unsolicited basis. Grant applications are not accepted.
A Better World Fund pays no salaries, and its officers serve on a volunteer basis. Annual operating expenses are minimal, funded primarily by Board member contributions.
A Better World Fund is a 501(c)(3) charity, founded in 1987.
